Sandhills Cooperation Association's Stanly County, NC's Core Team Member Rosalind McNeil conducted a Financial Literacy Youth Program in July, 2021 at New Direction, Norwood, NC. The program's focus was to mold positive financial behaviors and encourage the youth to adopt money management skills that will help them achieve their financial goals and become financially independent in the future. Rolanda Austin, core team member of Sandhills Cooperation Association is passionate about teaching youth and other people of color how to cook. In this video, a group of young people in Randolph County, NC graduated from this 6-week course in which they learned the importance of cooking healthy food, the benefits of eating healthy foods, and why you should never be intimidated by cooking healthy again!
